The event started with a video from Mike Farwell, formerly of 570 News, who is now with Fan 590.

Live Panel

Here is a video of the opening statements of the live panel that included Kevin Swayze of the Waterloo Region Record, Natalie Thomas of The Weather Network, Nadia Matos of CTV Southwestern Ontario and Ashley Csanady of the Waterloo Region Record.

Please let me know what you think about the panelists comments. I’d also love to hear your thoughts on how social media has changed media relations. Questions are welcome too!
