On Saturday at 10 a.m., I’m speaking at Podcamp Toronto. My presentation will be on the fundamentals of social media. It will be based on the article I wrote for the International Association of Business Communicators and later expanded upon with a series of posts.
Yes, you could just read what I have to say but I encourage you to come to my presentation so that you can ask me questions and hear the thoughts and questions of others who are attending.
What is a Podcamp?
Podcamp Toronto is a large social media conference. While the name refers to podcasting, you’ll find sessions on a wide-range of social media topics and in different formats. The subjects of the presentations are suited for a diverse audience with different purposes for using social media and a variety of experiences. My topic for example is part of a group of sessions for beginners. So it’s kinda like Social Media Breakfast: Waterloo Region but all in one place over a couple days.
The best part? You can attend your choice of a many topics in each time slot-and it’s all FREE!
