Last week, I was fortunate to be able to attend Artez Interaction in Toronto. Organized by Artez Interactive, the day was jam packed with information on how to use technology and digital media for nonprofits with an emphasis on fundraising. Among the great presentations I attended were the keynote from the Leukemia Foundation in Australia that kicked off the day and the overview of tools available to the social profit sector from Google. In this overview, I’m presenting mostly highlights from the two sessions that had my fingers and brain most active: Steve Irvine from Facebook Canada and Ryan Davis from Blue State Digital. I’ve also included a few other nuggets including an opportunity offered to charities by Huffington Post Canada.
