$99 Early Bird special extended to Friday

inspire! speakers series

Update: April 13

If you’re interested in an early bird ticket, I’m afraid that special has expired.

The good news is that there are still tickets available so get one while you can.

I’m happy with the show of support so far with this inaugural inspire! event.

Seeking a strong show of interest in Social Media inspirations!

I have extended the $99 Early Bird Special to Social Media inspirations! to Friday, April 12. This extension will be the one and only.

I would like to see registration double over the next five days to demonstrate the strength of interest in this event.

Power house line up of social media expertise

I’m bringing in John Haydon from Boston and Ryan Davis from New York City. Lisa Middleton is joining us as the Stratford Shakespeare Festival season is getting underway and Paul Nazareth is always busy networking and connecting people. A panel of social fundraising experts are coming. I need to be confident that there are enough folks are coming to bring this power house line up to Waterloo Region.

show you support social media inspirations!

You can show me that you support this event by buying your ticket now for $99. Your ticket includes a continental breakfast, a box lunch & refreshments.

The price rises to $125 after Friday. Save $25 now and give me confidence that I was right and there is strong interest in having an event that helps the social profit sector-and for profit organizations-enhance the effectiveness of their use of social media.

Worth the Drive to Cambridge

I chose to hold the event in Cambridge to make this event easily accessible to people outside of Waterloo Region. Straddling the 401, Cambridge is a short drive from Brantford, Hamilton, Burlington and Mississauga. It’s a reasonable drive from the rest of the GTA including Toronto and places such as Woodstock and London.

Be inspired to take a weekend getaway!

Downtown Galt where the conference is being held is a beautiful gem of southern Ontario. You may want to come down earlier in the weekend to take photographs of the stone buildings and river scenery. There’s some great dining and shopping options too! I can explore a discount at a little hotel if that will help seal the deal!

Nearby are great weekend getaways including St. Jacobs, Elora & of course Stratford-home of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

Waterloo Region Awesome!

Help make the first inspire! event a success.

Great learning opportunity for social profit sector

I’m holding this event in Waterloo Region because I am passionate about creating a better world starting with a better Waterloo Region. By bringing top notch experts here, I’m hoping that local charities can learn how to enhance their capacity to strive for their mission and deliver their vision. The line-up of experts is one that we regularly need to travel to Toronto or a conference to see, meet and learn. By bringing them here, you get a learning opportunity that you and your staff may otherwise never have. Don’t miss it!

Transferable knowledge that benefits everyone

I also believe that this conference is worth the time of for-profit folks who attends Social Media Breakfast: Waterloo Region. In the spirit of smbWR, the emphasis is upon transferable skills that apply to a wide variety of sectors. How to create a successful Facebook strategy applies equally to a business as it does a nonprofit. Networking online is a necessity today for any professional. And of course, the social marketing lessons from the Stratford Shakespeare Festival can be applied in a wide variety of situations.
