I was sitting in a conference when I realized we should have a Social Media Breakfast: Waterloo Region (smbWR) speaker on how to use LinkedIn. So naturally, I tweeted that thought. Clare McDowall recommended Paul Nazareth which lead to a very popular session that is available on Youtube (embedded below). That helped to lead to Clare McDowall and Claire Kerr speaking also speaking at smbWR. And now all three being on stage at Social Media inspirations! That’s the power of social media enhancing the power of networking!

Paul uses social media for personal networking but as a function of his work as a fundraiser or as he prefers a seeker of social-profit. I’ve seen him in action and so I wanted to have him talk about how to not only use LinkedIn but how to use a range of social media tools to experience the benefits of networking online-or as I prefer to say relationship-building as he’s been doing by sharing his own Twitter tips and encouraging fundraisers to seize the opportunities on social media.
